haha like i said yall make me laugh, arguing with us isnt going to make all the stretched guys switch to bigger tires, so stop trying

yall talk about function over form, but i have both. tires performed fine drifting this weekend at lonestar bash. 65+ sideways on 225's and 235's stretched on 9.5's and 10's.

yes it maybe a little more unsafe, but i never hear stories of people on stretched setups failing because of sidewalls giving out or w/e

end/

I had 305's on a 10.5 wheel and now i'm about to stretch some tires on that same 10.5 because i wanted to change the look of the car. Also I work in a wheel shop and we do plenty of stretch jobs and honestly its all about the tire wall. If you get a tires with a weak wall you may damage and destroy the wheel if you over stretch. At the end of the day its all about the look you want on your car. Let people live and let them choose what they wish.

To the OP, If the tire shop doesn't carry a "cheetah" or "bazooka" then chances are they won't be able to put air in it.... Also Bead sealer is your friend.

I have a 225/35 on a 10..

honestly i have never understood why people stretch their tires. If you dont have money for 265's then dont get 10.5 wheels. And if you get 10.5 wheels then save your money for an extra 3 days and buy 265's.

my friend with stetched tires had a blowout on the highway and pretty much totaled his car. 10k damage over spending 50 bucks more on tires? no thanks.

mine lasts a good while, just like when i ran oversized tires on my nismo wheels like some of you guys. And i try to run 0 toe, the negative camber we run does cause SOME excess wear but not like toe does. I just posted that bcs some guys here dont like rotating tires so they rather buy new tires instead. Case in point we dont run stretched tires bcs we cant afford fatter tires lol.

reminder this is a sports car, not a factory built track car. It comes with leather heated seats, auto tranny, and a 3,300lb+ curb weight straight from the factory. It wouldnt have that if it was soley built for the track :/ You guys need to be more open minded...the stretched tire guys are actually the only Zs that make it to other car forums nowadays anyway, if it wasn't for them our cars wouldn't be as talked about as they are now

You are by far the most stupid/ignorant person in this thread if you really believe what you just said. If you don't understand anything about the style
then don't comment on it. At least have the respect to learn about and understand something before you decide you don't like it.
