VIP Status Wheels Issue
This so redonkulous!!!! Rick should refund the people who waited so long so that they only paid cost price. I don't know how you could wait so long. I would of charged back awhile ago and order from somewhere else. Hopefully you'll get them before March '11...
Never done business with VIP Status. I've read/heard nothing but good things about them... from here and peeps at car meets.

i ordered 19x9.5 19x11 spirits. hope you get yours soon. for the last 2weeks i was calling everyday for updates. i would just bug the crap outta him like i did.
the posts talking about rick and the shipping company are the exact story i got from him... so funny. he said mine were gonna come by trucking company, but the were delivered FEDEX???
he said he would throw in some lugnuts for me also. they didnt come... so i'm not holding my breath.

Hes a good guy who put his faith in Rick to get him his wheels and paid alot of money for them (they worth every penny tho bro), for over a year....chit pisses me off.
I know he can fight his own battles and all, but the chit is just getting rediculous now. Stogey u know how nice this cat is, and i cant help but think Status just took advantage of that.

I was told the same thing. Would be nice to get a choice like rays, work, etc. but I doubt anybody will get anything at this point. just lucky enough to get our wheels.
I was told by Rick, that in japan, Companies like WORK and VOLK dont work during december. Production stops and delays the entire process. Also other factors are the wheels that are being requested. if there isnt a high order, then the companies just have to wait till a certain amount of wheels is requested.
Sounds legit and probably is since there is also other factors in play,(ex Authentic vs Replica wheels)
However, Why have the wheels been delayed this long? "60-90 days wait" to recieve a shipment is just a line to sell more. More than likely its always going to take longer. Unless you pay for air shipping, major $$$.
my order is way overdue, however rick did send me a loaner set of wheels for a car show, Rays Gramlights for import reactor this past april, too bad I only got 3 out of the 4of the wheels on time. Somethings are just out of his control. Thanks UPS for Effing that up. So I still hold Rick's wheels to this day, been trying to sell them (requested by him to save the hassel of shipping them back)

Blackheart, the first set of rims I received did not come with lugs either. I hope Rick comes through this time around if not no biggie I'll order some. I think he has had this new shipment in since Halloween, I'm just waiting for mine to ship out. He sent me pics of the rims I ordered, I just hope those are actually mine. What you say road trip to Cali? 
Ken at auto shine took forever to return my calls when just asking about simple info on the nismo v2 front bumper. All I wanted to know was if they had them in stock, and if so how long would it take to ship out?
Never got final word from him but yet his reputation stood out at the time.
Same thing with other "Reputable" vendors on this site when trying to ask for info or ordering items:
