How long do your tires last?
Just like the title says...Last year i got a pair of Michelin A/S plus for my car...lasted 12k but had a 500 tread wear rating and a 45k warrenty...
I'm just wondering what kinda of tires you guys are using and what kind of mileage you are getting out of them. I'm going to be looking for tires soon and im not sure if i should just get cheap pairs or try a different set of "nice" tires....
Any advice or input is appreciated...

I have 25k on my current tires and the rears are at 75% tread , the fronts around 30%. Fronts are Nitto Invo and rears are BFG G Force all seasons. Our 05 has 57k on the stock tires, don't know how. They are dryrotting, still have tread and getting replaced this year.

Tire life expectancy is difficult to gauge because everyone drives differently. I get to DD my Z so the tires last a bit longer.
My first set:
OEM Bridgestone Potenza RE040s lasted 11,000 miles on stock wheels and suspension.
Second set:
BFG KDW2s on stock rims and suspension lasted 28,000 miles or so.
Third set:
Toyo T1Rs on aftermarket 19s with Eibach Pro-kit are at about 20,000 miles and nearing replacement.

The life of your tires you get depends upon the tire itself (manufacturer, type of tire and its rating, etc.) and your driving-style (conservative to aggressive). The setup can also make a difference. For example a staggered width, front and rear, can result in faster wear than expected on the fronts if you are hitting corners hard and pushing the fronts.
Summer-performance should last >20K miles on the rear and even more on the front for normal street driving.
My experience is swapping out the summer-performance tires before they are worn out due to cupping and the awful sound you get from the uneven wear that is inherent with performance suspensions (usually somewhere around 20K in my case).

I have Kuhmo exstas (something like that-its a summer high performance brand). Installed it at 53379 and I'm currently 86179. I probably have another 1.5 to 2 years but I have a nail on my rear sidewall so I may have to replace the rears . Stock suspension and stock camber settings (seriously need an alignment though).
As people have said, it all depends on how you drive.

My rears last about a year lol. wear mostly on the inner side because of the -camber.. By the way I've had Kuhmo ecstas, G-force and now Star specs.. Star specs are by far my favorite and have barely worn since I got them 8months ago. so I like these more now! BTW I dont' drive my car once it snows so roughly 2 months I don't drive throughout the year and I drive pretty hard

i get 5000 miles until inside edges are shot front and back then i remove tires from rims and mount on the opposite wheel getting another 5000 miles on the fresh edges for a total of 10,000 miles total
i have used, general uhp exclaim, kumho ecsta, yokohama advan, same mileage tire brand did not matter , i am a very careful conservative driver, not aggressive at all ever
negative camber probably is the issue for lack of life

Goodyear F1 GS-D3: 21k miles (rears close to bald, fronts 30%)
Michelin PS2: 22K miles (rears bald, fronts 30%)
Falken 452: 15k miles (rears 20%, fronts 50%)
Running ExtremeConti DWS (hi-po all-seasons): after 10k miles rears @75% & fronts @ 80% tread left. (All approx. measures).

My car is definitely aligned...i get it done by a reputable place a couple times a year. I'm thinking i just got a bad set. (some other reviews showed them wearing out at the same mileage). The rears still have a little bit of tread and i would say i'm a semi conservative driver. I think i got my answer..thanks guys.
