I know this is an extremely dumb question and I'm putting my flame suit on...but I'm looking for some open end lugs to use with oem wheels...i've been running aftermarket wheels for so long I cant remember what the specs on oem lugs..do they have to be the acorn 60* set ? Just need a definite answer so I dont take a wild guess and have a wheel fall off.
thanks !
selling the car and need something cheap..will these work ?

I'm still confused about the OEM lug nut designation. I've done a search. Checked out the links in this thread but no answer.
Most aftermarket lug nuts I see for the 350Z are labled as 60 degree. I do not know if that is for the OEM wheels or aftermarket wheels.
I just got a set of Enkei RPF1s for the track. I have no idea what type lug nut they require. The Enkei web site has no info on lug nuts that I can see.
I am going to buy lug nuts for the RPF1s but I'd like to know if the 60 degree lug nuts I get for them will work on the OEM wheels that I will use as daily drivers.
Sorry if I missed something in the search function. A sticky with this info would be nice......if I haven't missed it. There is a Wikipedia resource on the 350Z which gives a lot of wheel specs but only lists the lug nut type as 'acorn'.
Edit: I have not checked the obvious resource....the owner's manual. But I will tonight.

Excellent. Thanks. And I assume that is what the Enkei rims accept too. So if the length of the OEM wheel stud is sufficient (and it should be) then there wouldn't be anything wrong with using the OEM lugs on the Enkeis.....except that my wheels are black and they are chrome.

Sounds like you might be removing your wheels pretty frequently, might I suggest you go with a steel lug so that they can take the abuse?

There is no reason to pay more than $100/max for a set of quality lugs unless you're just going primarly for style.
I'm not sure about using them with your OEM wheels, I would suggest using these McGards for your Enkei's and retaining the OEM lugs for your OEM's

The center of the RPF1s is very deep so I'll get some longer lug nuts and I'll get them in black. Nothing wrong with looking good at the track.

The McGard's seem to be a good product but I might buy some open end Muteki nuts because there is a good chance in the near future I'll replace the stock studs with some ARP studs since I'm running wider rims and going to the track.
