Track Setting with 275/35 18 front
Hi,
So for now, for the track i use :
Front : 8.5*18 Rays LMGT4 with 245/40 18 R888 tires
Rear : 9.5*18 Rays LMGT4 with 275/40 18 R888 tires
In order to improve the grip of the front, i want to go wider.
I'm considering to buy ENKEI RPF1 9.5*18 for the front (don't care of the difference between front and rear in terms of style for the track).
I will put 265/35 or 275/35 18 Toyos R888 on it.
I have 2 options in terms of offset :
+15 and +38.
Will the +15 with 275/35 tire fit without rolling the front fenders ? i have about -2.4° degree of camber in the front.
Some say that 285 can fit but i don't know the offset of their wheels, and if possible i don't want to use spacers to save weight...
I'm afraid the +38 will need spacer in order not to touch the control arm... Because i tried my LMGT4 without my H/R Space (30mm, 15mm each side) and the tire 275/40 18 rubs the control arm. But the 275/35 will be smaller in height... With the spacer, which equal to about +20 it fits but it's close to the fenders...
My car is low
Thanks

You'll be fine with the lower offset with the 275s as long as you dial in the appropriate amount of camber. Many run 285/35/18s in the front, usually with RPF1s that are 18x10.5 +15, without pulling the fenders with some healthy negative camber.

Since you have front adjustable arms, order a set of 10.5 +15 for the rear, run your 9.5's up front and throw 275/35 or 265/35 up front. Simple and easy.
