Default What do you guys think?

I want to get some new tires, BFG sponsors me for tires but the KDW's I used to run are basically discontinued.

I was running a 275/35/19 in the front and 295/35/19 in the rear. BFG no longer makes a 295/35/19 so I am SOL on that. They offer the Rival tire in a 285/35/19 but the only size available for fronts is a 255/40/19.

Lets do some math

255 x .40 = 102mm = 4.01575 inches

285 x .35 = 99.75mm = 3.92717 inches

The rival is a superior summer tire vs the KDW so my issue is mainly with aesthetics of a 40 series tire up front and 35 series tire in the rear. The car would no longer look staggered correct?

Another option would be to run the new G-Force Sport Comp-2.

They are offered in 285/35/19, 275/35/19, and 265/35/19. The traction is not as good as the rivals I could run a 265/35 up front and 285/35 in the rear to be a more traditional staggered setup.

I have a built motor twin turbo Z so traction is extremely important. Car is only driven in ideal weather and I try to avoid rain like the plague. Thoughts?

1st world problems. lulz

I don't know that anyone would be able to tell the difference from 35 to 40 series unless the wheels were undersized, which, if I remember your previous set up, is not the case.

I think you would be fine to run whatever tires they give you.

I can haz BFG tire sponsorship?

I personally wouldn't want a taller tire in the front even though it's only a 1/5" difference. I'd opt for the 285/35 and 265/35 sport comp 2.

That tire selection sucks. I would probably run mismatched tires. Rival rear with the sport comp front
