Excuse me if this has been asked before but some searching yielded little results.
On the factory "Anniversary Edition" five spoke rims:
18x8, +30mm F
18x8.5, +33mm R
Does anyone know if you can run the rear wheels up front? I came into a nearly flawless set and my current mounted rears are also pretty damn perfect.
So I've been tossing around the idea of running a 18x8.5 square setup. An online offset calculator says the inside will sit 9mm closer to the strut, and the face 3mm further out.
Not exactly "omgawdhellaflush" fitment by any means, but I like the idea of ease of rotating, and running a little bit wider tire up front.
Any adverse handling/ tire feathering I should be aware of if it even fits? I know a square setup will tend to oversteer a bit more, but will the (225 vs 245) really make a noticeable difference for daily driving?
Thanks in advance.

I would 't even worry about the "oversteer" of which there will be little to no appreciable increase on the square setup, say 245/40-18 at every corner. If you are concerned about this though, go 245/40 & up to 265/40 rear to maintain the correct stagger (tire diameters).

that bold screws out, i think that bolt prevents any kind of aftermarket wheels to be put on, but ppl take it out.
Many people run square setups, the car gets twitchy from the loss of rake but that's fine with me. Oversteer, you would need a 265 up front with 245 rear before you may have to worry about oversteer, the car is an under steering pig , square just takes some of the understeer away.

Thanks for the quick replies guys.
I went ahead and ordered some Pilot Super Sport 245/40's and I'll have them mounted up tomorrow. I'll snap some pics for those interested in what it looks like (negligible I'm sure).

The bolt is removable. I think it's to prevent people/shops from incorrectly rotating the rear wheels to the front on a staggered set-up.
