How to identify TPMS sensor on used wheels
I bought a used set of 350z wheels to replace my older wheels with TPMS sensors which had a warped rim from hitting a curb. Is there a way to tell if the used wheels I just bought have the TPMS sensors in them without having to remove the tires?
I read that if there is a TPMS sensor, then the valve stem will be metal, whereas without the sensor it will be rubber - is this correct in all cases?
Thanks!!
