So a couple of weeks ago I picked up an 04 Enthusiast 350z, and have been working on fixing some of the little issues it has and planning some upgrades as well. Anyway, I found a sweet deal on some Klutch SL5 18x8.5 in wheels, but best I can tell from measuring they are about a 40mm offset. Will these work on my 350Z, or will they need some kind of spacer to work (or at least look good)? Also, was thinking of running a 245/45-18 or maybe a 255/45-18 tire if I could fit. Any recommendations here?

That narrow and that high of an offset isn’t a deal when offering zero advantage over stock AND adding weight with spacers to make it work. Save up for at least 9.5s with 245/40, 275/40-18 combo.
As Mic mentioned, that wheel setup would not be an upgrade from the OEM configuration. Look for something in the lower offset range - like +20 - +25mm.
