Thumbs up B+G Drop makes Joust Happy

First off Thanks to my buddy Steve @ Hopupracing.com for these babies. No need to spend over 200 on Eibachs when these are only $155 @ Hopupracing! Also thanks to Zland for turning me on to these!

1st thing I noticed about these springs were how light they were. Much lighter than stock. Dont know if that makes a difference because I dont know if springs = unsprung weight or sprung weight!

Here is a baby write-up:

Cosmetic: Changes the look of the car completely. Much more aggressive looking. At first I thought that the rear tires tucked too much but they really dont from direct side view. It looks damn good !!!!

Performance: Night and day. Bounce is gone. I feel VERY confident driving this car down a mildly winding road @ speed! Turns I once took @ 80mph I take @90. I could probably do 100mph down said turn, but at those speeds I like a HUGE margin for error. Steering is tighter, there is NO body roll and its a blast to drive fast. It practically begs me to drive fast because it feels so safe and planted now. I drive a race car now

Practicality: Because my 19s had a larger overall diameter than stockers, I now do not have much less ground clearance than stock. Bumps are no problem especially since there is not as much give on the springs, so no scraping the M brace after rolling the fronts over the bump. Driveways are not a problem either. I am just careful, as I was before. It doesnt seem to be much worse. (I should keep my mouth shut til I get my NIsmo replica bumper!)

Overall: For $155 you cant beat this mod. The car rides great (no compromise in comfort) and the handling is insane. I hope this helps some people out!

correct! Tire zize = 255/35 19 front 275/35 19 rear. Everyone goes 245 up front but 255 looks great, gives more grip and the stagger is perfect for VDC interperetation!

Yes BTW 1" drop all around!

I have been thinking about these springs for a while now. My only fear is that the drop might be too far for me. My 10.5's are pushed out pretty far as it is, and if the drop is to far, I might be hitting the fender. I have had the lips trimmed, but I think the wheels are just too far out. Do these spings tuck the tires up into the well? I'd like to be very close to flush with it, with out going up inside.

Currently, I am going back and forth between these and the Tein S-Techs.

Now that I look at these, I think even if they did tuck a little, it would still be ok.

I'd still rather not have it tuck the wheel up inside the well passed the lip. I like the flushed look more.

Also, I'm concerned about the camber/toe effects being out of spec since the drop is 1".. any input on that ?

Default Camber wear!

As far as i know and have read it is not supposed to be mor ethatn 20-30 % less tread life on your tires so a bit more waer on your tires but also depends on driviing style and other variables but it will decrease the life of your tires unless you go with camber kits but it will be a bit expensive if you go that route as well I htink camber kits are running around 400-450 and then you must have installation from someon who knows what they are doing..AHHHH damn too much stuff to do and so little money...LOL
