07 Stock Alarm Mod
I've tried method of push the two buttons on the alarm remote to disable the "honk" that sounds when the stock alarm is activated but it did not work on my 07 Z.
Has anyone been able to disable the "honk" on an 07? If so how?

The red button is the panic button. When you press it the horn keepson honking.
I am try to NOT disable that single horn honk that happens when I activate the alarm.

ok, I got it. Reading the manual does not work for 07 Z because it is not in the manual. The way to do it is:
1. Hold down the the lock button on the alarm remote.
2. While holding down the lock button hold down the unlock button
3. Keep holding both buttons till your tail lights flash.
Done!
If you have problems try holding the lock button in step 1 for maybe 15 secs before holding down the unlock button.
Cool now I can set my alarm in my car without drawing attention. Downside is if you use your alarm to find your car in a parking lot you will have to look for the lights flash instead of listening for the alarm.
Drive safe.

The procedure is 100% same as in '03-'06 Zs. What you listed above is correct, but pressing and holding the two buttons "simultaneously" will yield the same result.

I was wondering how to get rid of the honk when I lock it (Didn't read the manual that well!)
Thanks
You can use the panic button if looking for your car.
Thanks

ok i tried this. my stock alarm is modded so that the blinking LED is also audible with a small piezo horn, kind of like a heartbeat.
everyone usually asks what the noise is at meets when i got the lambos open.
when my car arms itself notice that the led will remain steady for like 4 seconds. this is found out after i did the piezo on the led lead.
