Default TN single turbo exhaust system?

How would one downpipe from a single turbo connect to two cats??....does that mean an aftermarket exhaust system is required? I was trying to find a suitable exhaust for my TN single turbo w/ cat kit.

the last downpipe replaces the cats and y-pipe, it bolts right up from that point on

Tay is correct. The factory cats are removed and repalced by a cross over pipe. The stock y pipe is replaced too. The downpipe comes down and bolts up to the factory midpipe so you can use the stock exhaust too.

So hence why you would need a non-true dual exhaust correct?

Anything true-dual will not work. Any OE exhaust (single inlet) will work.

The Topspeeed Pro-1 3" will bolt right up.

There are no carb legal turbo kits. Adding cats to a twin turbo kit does not make it CARB legal either.

I figured adding cats wouldn't. So it basically would definitely not pass the sniffer test correct?

I wouldn't say that. While it was not an official test I've seen a turbo car with no cats roll the sniffer and pass that test in Cali..

Pretty amazing especially in Cali. But I'm a little ***** when it comes to cops and tickets though. Never got a speeding ticker *knock on wood* but I've got my share of stupid ones that have added up.

True dual exhausts are possible with the TN kit...you just need a reverse y-pipe. I'm using the HKS.

I'm sure that would work but sounds like it would defeat the purpose of it being dual though correct? I have a stillen TD but would probably get rid of it.

It's up to you. It cost me $75 for the reverse y-pipe. I loved my HKS too much to get rid of it...and man, does it sound even better.
