Just a little background currently have a nonsleeved bottom end build 881 compression. Was wondering with a greddy 18g kit on 91 725id and 255 walboro. Will I make good power on 91. I decided to buy a dw 300 320 pump and dw1000 injectors. On e85 15lbs where should the power be at?

all depends on tuner and which dyno is used. there no set answer for get this, this, and this, it'll get you to x amount of hp

Cincy brings up a good point but assuming that everything works like it should I could see you getting 550whp. Your 'bottle neck' will be your heads...a port & polish, higher flowing valves and cams will give you another 100whp to 150whp...

start a build thread ... interested to see how it turns out

I don't know a ton about e85 on the Z, but in relation to my experience with my lancer evo, you will need a lot more fuel than than a single 300 pump will flow.

^agree, as I recall I had trouble (but managed) with a single walbro 485 and mid 500 whp on E85, even with a voltage booster kicking in under boost. Not sure a DW 300 will cut it.

Wow that is a LOT of fuel... Is it really worth all of the trouble vs methanol?

IMHO, it can be. on the evo it absolutely is..

on the Z, if all you want is 500 or so, I'd probably say it isn't because that can be done relatively easy on regular pump gas.

that said, I'd question a dw 300 even being enough on pump. I haven't looked into this in yrs, but I think a modded 255 will outlfow these 300 pumps.

I'm on a 255 right now, return fuel system is a must for big power but my power level isn't "big". I can't imagine you get very good mpg on e85. I know that isn't what we're going for, but it seems like you could burn 20 gallons in about a half hour of driving...

Modified as in opening up the outlet port?

OP where are you trying to get to? That may be a better approach to you being happy in the end...
