One too many late nights playing GraND THEFT AUTO..

JEEZZ..

At least if you stop you just get a ticket, if you decide to be OJ, your almost promising yourself an asskicking, and a ticket.

Once I pulled over and waited, I saw him make a u-turn in my rear view mirror, I knew it was over. He had me going over 80mph on the radar, I didn't get a ticket, it pays to be nice.

i know the messurements are different types but the z is quicker
On a straight, its possible to outrun them, but it'll take awhile to get out of their line of sight. In a city, they have the line of sight and freedom of movement advantage.

Of course, if you had a stinger launcher.................

This has got to be the dumbest thread that I've seen on this forum and there have been some dumb ones. Go ahead and put some of these ideas into practice and I'll be watching you on a reality TV show about police chases. And we all know how those end.

In my area the majority of chases get called off once the speeds get too high. Which is something I agree with. Unless its a violent offender its not worth endangering the public.

I might take evasive measures (turning off a side road for example) if the cop were going in the opposite direction and had to pull a u-turn to nab me. Cuz I could claim ignorance: "Sorry, I didn't see you, officer."

But if he's within a few car lengths behind me, the siren is on, and I know it's me he's after, I pull over as soon as it's safe to do so.

Pissing off a cop is just plain stupid!

I've ditched cops twice, but not with flat out speed. It has been more of an opportunity to take a few turns when you see the cop bust a U-Turn, and if he does catch you, you can just play it off like you didn't see him.

I have done this twice and gotten away with it both times.....

This is not true...I have successfully ran from the cops numerous times. Four times in a car, and twice as many on my bike. If you have a correct route planned out that includes air space around the local airport, the police choppers will not follow in that area...they are not allowed.

I was once coming over a hill and before i hit the top a cop came over the hill and zapped me and turned his lights on. I knew I was busted and pulled right over just past the hill.

A few seconds later the police car comes sailing by me and then had to nail his brakes, turn around again and come up behind me.

He thought it was so funny that he gave me a warning.

no this is not the ressone im so fair away form it.
but good guess. the worst thing i ever did was have an suv cop try to keep up with me on a slippery country road. the next day i saw the same car at the local body shop, looked like it had a little date with a tree. hehe i admit i do have issues with police now. my car is a rolling fortress against them.
