Default lemon law

can someone explain to me what is the lemon law regarding the 350z feathering problem. How can i use that law to my advantage? Should i threaten the nissan dealership with lawsuits? that might work eh?

Not sure what it is in regards to the feather issue, but i believe a dealership has at least 3 documented chances to correct a problem. If there is still no resolution then they may get one last chance. After that if there is still no satisfaction/resolution of the problem then its probably on to some type of hearing/arbitration. Keep all records , document as much as possible.

Lemom laws vary by state. You need to get info on your specific state. As people have said, you generally have to give the dealer a certain n umber of times to fix the problem. You may also need to notify Nissan. If you need a lwyer, get recommendations from people in your state you have used the lemon law. The biggest ad is usually not the best lawyer. Here is a site with some general info - http://www.lawyers.com/lawyers/A~100...ILE+LEMON.html

Good luck.

here in FL they are required by law to give you a lemon law handbook when you buy the car. Do you remember ever getting one of these? check all your papers from when you bought itit may be in there. It explains everything and has a 1800 hotline for any questions you may have.
