Looks like he actually hit the camera with the front tire.

Should have sped the video up to make that shot running over the camera more impressive

yeah, ran the camera over...

first take I tried the center of the car, hit the camera.
second take I hit it with the wheel
third one looked good, but I guess I clipped the camera with the wheel.

Maybe I'll try again tomorrow.

btw, the slow rolling shots are suppose to be slooow mootioon...

What did you use to secure the camera to the strut bar? It held pretty well with minimal vibration.

Default Nice Shootin Dude

Beautiful car, creative video, great sound track, though it starts to wear thin until you finally step on the pedal.

VA plates but the roads look like MD, too many phone poles?

Damn, I loved the movie. Does anyone have some professional equipment? Maybe we could start 350Zfilms.com (ala BMWfilms.com)?

artist: Dirty Vegas. Songs: Brazilian (10) and Simple Things (11).
You probably recognize track 4... "Days Go By".
And it was the best cd I had in the 6 disc changer. it was either this or George Michael. NOT.

For the in-cabin shot, I used a mini-tripod and bungy cord to bungy the camera to the strut bar.

It was shot in VA, in front of my house. Near Belvoir.

It was a blast to do, and I personally love the shot of the tailpipe as the car is rolling over. If ever I'm run over by a Z, I'll be saying to myself, "Damn, that's a nice tailpipe."

Glad you all are enjoying it.

after the holidays I'm recruiting our shooter for a weekend to claim some footage of my Z. I work for an Ad Agency (as a visual effects artist) who does a ton of automotive advertising...

We'll proabably use a Digital Betacam.... I'll cut it all together to some music ..... will post a link to it when done... shoudl be a few weeks before I start and another couple when done.
