Smile Z noob needs your advice!

Hi, I am looking at buying a used 350z in the next three months and wanted your advice on a couple quesions. First, are there any VIN ranges I should watch out for? I looked in the repair/mainenance forum and found some unsettling information about TSB/recalls. Second, what specific things should I look for when inspecting the car? (What are clues that I should stay away form that particular example.)

Thank you for any input,
-Rob

Turrn the front tires all the waay in opposite angles and check the inside tire tread for uneven wear, this will show you whether there is feathering or not.

That's it, pretty much. Have the dealer run the VIN for service records. See what has been done for warranty work and TSB work.

For the most trouble-free Z's, shop for a 2004 1/2.
