I got waved at by a dude in another Z today, but I wasn't paying attention so I did the hurried-wave-back. I felt a little crappy about that one. Also, I passed two chicks that didn't make eye-contact, I waved anyway. I can't wait till some chick ends up seeing me at Wal-mart and tries to talk me up about me waving at her (especially if my wife happens to be there). I did pass a dude on the highway in an old 280 that looked ultra-retro, most-definately cool. I gave a honk and a thumbs-up, but he was too cool to respond in any way. Oh well.

i wave at every z i see, not just the 350, but i find it harder to get waves from the earlier gens, some 300 guys wave back, most dont.

i see some guy in a black z, my age, driving uptown on the way to work sometimes, he never even acknowledges me. to each their own.

Zexy what do you consider super old. I am 51 years young and having a ball in my Z. I flash and/or wave everytime I see a 350 and give thumbs up to any other Z and I am getting a response from 80% or better.

There is a 260Z in my neighborhood that is driven by an 70+ lady and she bought it brand new and won't "give it up for the world" as she told me one day when we were talking.
I didn't mean to offend anybody And when i say old i mean 80-100(No BS) years old, it's ridiculous.

You wave so you're cool Not much people wave. I'd like to come across ya one day. Not much Z greeters around.

I think for most it's easier to respond when you're on the go. It's a simple nod or thumbs up. Greeting someone at a stop light sparks the need for additional dialogue to fill the silence until the light truns green. And some people are either too shy or caught off guard by it. That's my physicological explanation

When they first came out you get alot responses, as years go by not as much. I give them a thumbs up!

Yea, around here in Odenton near Ft Meade I see a lot of Zs, and most act like they don't see you. I am always out around the area with my SS 350Z with the front lip, wheels, super loud Tanabe SMR exhaust and what looks like an over sized stock spoiler. Today I followed a Daytona blue Z onto RT32 east and didn't even get a nod or anything from him, like you said so much for Zolidarity.

By the way I'm 45.

In the South End of Seattle, which is pretty middle-class, all Z owners seems to wave. When I'm in a ritzier area however, like around Redmond where Microsoft is, Z drivers don't seem to care. However, the Z drivers I've seen there have been women who I think are just high income and have "just another nice car."

What I wonder about is, do 350 Z owners acknowledge other non-350 Z drivers? Like 280 Z, 240 Z, etc? I want to wave but sometimes wonder if I would be a show-off since I'm in the newer car

Some people just dont care... my dad bought a bmw and he for some reason drives our old 99 civic sedan more often then his car... just preference I suppose.

I guess it's kinda our fault because we "convinced" him to buy one and he can't get used to the stiff suspension commonly known among Bimmers.
