Again, just keep in mind most people that own 350Z's are not "real" Z people and don't live on any Z forums or are in any Z clubs. They know nothing of the heritage of the Z or where their car came from. If you start talking about Z clubs, then you'll definitely see a more knowledgable crowd. This has been a nice discussion.
On a side note, it's funny on this forum that most of you think the Z33 is faster than a Z32TT in a straight line...interesting...lol

As far as faster in a straight line, mine is stock except for Kinetix V4 and PopCharger and almost keeps up with the Z32 TT's. Blows away the NA models, and outhandles ALL of them except one with upgraded suspensions - thats a drivers race. I like and respect them all.
There are several Z32TTs in my Z Club that would destroy nearly any Z33 out there whether the line is straight or curvy. With that being said...we've got 2 super chaged Z33s in the group. Just keep in mind that as fast as you are...there's always someone who's faster.
Oh I'm not fast. The car group I'm a part of in Chicago has many cars over 1000 hp. In fact, we just had a little fun the other night lining them up on the highway late at night and let them have at each other. What a site!

If I need to get a speed thrill, I just pull the '67 out of the garage:

Even with that there is always someone at the track that has a faster car or bike.
I'm not in competition with anyone. I just like to drive fast at times!
Well wjhen people say that new 350z owners have no clue of the heritage of their car thats kindof looking at it the wrong way. Did everyone who first bought their 300's or 280's take the Z for all that we take it? No. The only reason it seems that there are more 300z and 280 (etc) enthusiasts is that its an old car by then and its either in a junk heap or in the hands of someone who cares about the car to take care of it. Lets let the 350 sit for a while and see what happens there too. My dad owned a 280 and now i own a 350. There are 4 z's in my parking garage alone and you can tell an enthusiast from a pretty car person. 4 bone stock Z's, 2 of them are dirty as hell, 1 has road rash under the front and scrapes on the side view mirror (track model no less), the other is a convertible with led's in the Z wind blocker (oh so gay). I cant help who buys my car but when you see mine i think youd know i was an enthusiast. I will be the guy who still has his car lookin clean in 3 years while the rest will be in used car lots or totaled accidents. Oh yeah and i love the 300's, they are iconic/classic. I gawk at them now just as much as i did when i was a teenager. But even if i didnt like them i can still be a Z enthusiast in my own right.

A good rebuild and a 300zx TT can be a deadly weapon.

Hell yeah...I bet Iman is rockin' David Bowie's world...can't believe someone (her ex...some psychotic football player) beat her so bad he broke several bones in her face. Yeesh!
At least she's got someone who REALLY appreciates her now.
