for the 10 millionth time...
This question had probably been asked a lot, but is there a way to open the hatch other than the remote and the one on the tower? Like a button somewhere?

The other button is located under the hatch by the license plate area. If you feel somewhere around the license plates illuminators, you should feel like a rubbery button. Press and hold it and it should pop open given that the car is unlocked. I'm sure someone will provide better instructions than I've given, I'm not good at instructing others

Its right above the license plate it locks and unlocks with the driver door, so make sure the driver door is unlocked and the button will open it.

My pull string doesn't even work...I pulled so hard that plastic tab cut into my fingers and nothing...what a great emergancy opener. Owned my Z for 8+ months never knew about the button by the licence plate. I knew there had to be another one!

When I bought my Z the guy at the dealership went over all those little things. At the time I didn't really think much about it, but hearing how many people dont know about those little things I'm glad he did

haha don't feel stupid, I asked this same question about 2 months ago too...It's such a pain to open the hatch too because you need to use two hands....sucks when you're holding something to put in and u have to set it down to use one hand to pop it and another hand to pull it up before it latches again. I'm not lazy, just an inconvenience lol
P.S. for those who live in colder areas, I noticed that now that its getting cold, my hatch doesn't wanna stay up. Learned the hard way after I put it up and leaned in, then hatch fell down and the latch spanked me right on the top of my head...hurt like a m'fugga.
