the 03-05 headlights are perfect EXCEPT they need real projectors

I am not a fan of the 06 headlights either

 

A few months ago, I went to the SF Auto Show and saw the '06 Z with the new headlights. From the people I talked to there, everyone thought they looked funny and dressed down the Z.

I didn't like the new taillights either.

 

I have to say i like how clean the inside of the o6's headlights are the little dots on there im not shure what to think about them. I think the ultimate headlight would be the o6 lights with the smaller projector.

 

I can't help not looking at the headlights on your Avatar/LOL.

 

The 2006 lights are awesome. They look much better in person.

I hate the top amber light being on with headlights on, it looks so cheap so I cut the wire to the park light, it looks 100% better at nite now.You still have your LED's and turn sigs. Try it you will like it.

 

Did it turn off the side LED lights off too?

 

2006 headlights are ok IMO. If I had an 06, then of course I would like them. But to me they make the Z look like Herbie the Bug because of the bubbly eyed look from the headlamps and the new front spoiler on the bumper. The car looks like its sticking its tounge out. Lol. It loses the aggressive look of the 03-05's. I would never spend 1200 bucks on them. The 06 tailights... well thats a different story.

 

I wouldn't buy the 06 headlight, but I wouldn't take it off, if I had an 06. I actually love the taillights a lot better.

One of the main reason I bought the 06 is for the headlights and tail lights. I just love them!

personally, i like it....

 

If they function better than the '03 - '05, then don't worry about the cosmetic appeal.

Speaking of looks...I saw someone checking my car out up close and personal (peeking through my driver side window) before I headed off to work in my DD. haha...made me smile
