Default Turn signals did not make noise???

Well last night something wierd happened, my signals did not make the clicking noise behind the dash you usually hear. I checked the signals and the hazard lights and they all worked. I turned the car off and left the light on to see if a speaker or whatever makes the noises behind the dash blew but it beeped. I tried a few minutes later and same thing happened, no noise for the signals. It works today. Has this happened to anyone else??

Turn signals actually don't make any noise in modern cars. Manuacturers realized that people are accustomed to some type of noise so put relays and other gizmos in the circuit to similate the old fashioned signal sound. Could have been a stuck relay (or whatever is used in the Z) or similar.

I'm in the same boat. My old G35 sedan had that problem too.

Nothing worse than trying to look all suave, then realize that your blinker has been on for the last 3 miles.

When this happens, sometimes when i turn the car off, it makes a nasty sound from the dashboard.. like some F***ED UP speaker, but it goes away if i retart it up.. donno if anyone experience that...
