Looks like it came from about 4 years ago.

 

Just filled up this afternoon. 355 miles on the trip meter. dte was ---- out and the car only took 17.5 gallons... roughly 2-2.5 gallons in the tank still.

 

Not with those numbers you didn't, unless you have an 18.5 gallon tank, which the Z does not.

485/27 = 18 + slosh.


I get about 290-320 miles on a tank, mixed driving with lots of starts and stops.

 

On sunday i'm hoping to get around 120 miles out of my tank, at least till i start to get fuel starve issues.

 

last time i checked the z had a 20 gal tank. I've filled up with 17.5 gal before

 

I can get about 250. Once it hits a little under a 1/2 left on long trips, it just drops off to E and the starts hanging itself. Hit the station and it magically only takes about 10 gals and its full....HMMMMMMM?

Seriously anyone else have this issue?

 

^ Every once in a while my fuel gauge will act up like that. I fill up every 400 miles (can still drive about 50 more miles) on average so I drive until I reach 400 then fill up. This "fixes" my fuel gauge problem.

 

The question should be has anyone run out of gas in there Z? I drive about 400- 450 miles on a full tank and still fill up at 17 gallons. So in essence I have 3 more gallons to burn up

 

I've run out of gas once just as I was about to pull into the driveway and another time at the drag strip during a run.

250-300 km's.... Not miles. All urban driving, no highway.

 

Is that miles till empty gauge on the Z correct?
Cause I drove it till it said I had 0 miles left to drive filled up with only 18gal that means I had 2 left.. hummm.

 

other then that I get about 400 miles on a tank...
