Point taken, It's just that most 07 cars come out in late 06. But honestly i love the hood and the new lights and the upgrades all the way around. It could come out in May for all i care as long as in can get one.

 

Ive been gone from work for a week and I came back today and saw the new brochure sitting on my desk!

There, I fixed your post for you. I like the new hood, and I'm sure there are plenty more who do. There are also a lot of folks on the fence about it after only seeing pictures, and will have to see it in person to know if they like it or not.

It's just like anything else. The people who post are the people who have issues with something... you hear a lot more negative stuff than positive about almost anything.

 

well just called the local dealers they have a shipment of brochures! No Z's yet but he told me as of right now they are on the boats getting shipped here. So hopefully they get here mid janurary for the first shipment and feburary for the next. I got this info from the Sales Manager at Stone Rivers Nissan in TN.

 

They need to put a supercharger on thier damn boats. I can't wait any longer!!! I'ma go get my brochure today.

 

Im going to wait until I can see the new hood in person before I make a decision.

 

I almost forgot, in the brochure there is a picture where you can see half of the underside of the car. Looks like the same exhaust even it says "larger-diameter, high flow exhaust". Could they be talking about the manifolds?


Plus Im dying to know if it will have the 3.69 final drive like the 07 G35!

Alot of the brochure looks photoshopped to be honest. But then again, what brochure ISN'T photoshopped??? So yeah, there it is. Now we just need pricing and ETA. While I was at the dealer we logged into nnanet.com to see what was coming... there's 5 MB's coming to my area in various trim levels... said 01/07 for arrival date!

 

The hood just kills it.

 

any listing of the gearing? did it get the quicker gears (3.7fd I think)?

Actually, it's the engine that looks like it kills stuff. The hood is just there... for now.

 

Well I just found some new training material and it looks like the 07 Z WILL NOT have the 3.69 final drive from the G35.

 

The San Marino Blue looks nice. A big "I told you so" to all those that thought it was going to be a lighter shade of blue than Daytona. I will still need to see it in person to choose it over Black.

Ahhh, oh well. I'd bet thats part of the reason the G sedan is that much quicker than the old one. Damn nissan why not, could have been an even bigger reason to get the 07? 3.9's to the rescue...

 

Picked up my brochure today and talked to a friendly older sales person at Stone Rivers Nissan. He is gonna call me when the first shipment arrives so I can check them out. I asked him if there was anyone else besides me that knew about the 07 Z's and he said no one he knows of. He didnt know til the brochure came in yesterday. Sales Manager wasnt there but that was ok there wasnt much else to ask.

He even offered me a test drive in the 06 Z, lol! But I told him I'll wait for the 07 and if I dont like it I'll try out the 06 Z if there is any left.
