Yep. The Z33 is the only existing car to receive the new HR engine. They could of held off for the new Z like they did with the G sedan/coupe, but they decided Z owners deserved the new engine in the existing body.
Who knows what the next Z will look like, it's nice for those of us who still love the Z33 lines and who want a little something different in the engine department.
Thanks again Nissan

Thats the Solar Orange Color? Ugh, doesn't look color shifting from the photo. I think Lemans Sunset is nicer than that. Looks like a Dreamsicle! One down. One to go. If the San Marino Blue isn't a dark blue, looks like I'll be picken up a black one.

As a automotive/transportation design student I have to be blunt and state that the hood design is a 100% last minute decision and overall fails to carry Ajay Panchal's original design lines and proportions...not a good design resolution on the part of nissan; but of course, things look different when you see them in person right? ...right.......?

it should fit fine. the air scoop will just feed the driver side intake. evo-r sells a replica of the air scoop. wonder if you could pull off putting one on the other side aswell. the only thing is im not sure how the intakes are positioned so it might not line up. worst case just dont use the air scoop. and i also would have the two grooves on the V2 filled to match the new hood as you mentioned earlier it wont look right with the 2 grooves on the bumper but not the hood
oh by the way deftones kickass im going to see them Nov 28th,

the groove stands out too much. Too busy. KISS at work at Nissan. I'll take it as is. The proportions look the same to me when considering the 240 is longer and skinnier. The Z is wider so the hump will be wider and shorter. I think they did it right if they were going for the 'Homage'. I just wish they would have thought foward instead of backwards when it comes to looks. Save the retro stuff for Ford and Chevy!

Nissan should take some design cues from BMW when it comes to hood bulges. They did an excellent job updating the hood from the Z4 to an M Roadster, as well as the M3.

I'm just going to wait until a rich parent buys his 16 year-old kid a brand new 07 350z and totals it...then I'll salvage the motor from the junkyard. Or wait until somebody totals a gt-r....muahahaha
