and yea... no ****... it takes a long time to perfect it.... u'd still look hella dumb stalling every 5min on city rd... and jerky shifts. that's why i say it is a skill that any1 can acquire. just some of you dont want to acquire such a "nice" skill.

sounds to me u have a family... then good for you sir... i'd prolly do the same thing if i had a family and my "wife" needs to drive the car. but im 19... and to me... automatic sport cars annoy the **** outta me... i look down on those people, and im sure alot of people who do drive a stick would say the same.

dont start attacking me man... i can care a **** less of what you drive. but i wont be buying MYSELF an automatic ever again. maybe as a family car in the future.

do you ever wonder why when u talk to people... they ask about ur car... u say... a 350z... and u go... it's an automatic... people would go... awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.... u should have gotten a stick. EVEN though they dont drive a sport car or a manual...

i aint got time to argue with some dude online... so i wont... and yea... i aint concerning about what other people drive... im just calling them pansys for going the easy route. it aint that hard, like you said, so why not just take the challenge instead of going for an engine that does it all itself?

i dont know ur past experience with stick shift.. but ill tell ya right now... it is a hella great feeling,... it makes a sport care JUST THAT more fun

Wow I would buy a Auto just so I wouldnt have to associate with this retard.

Public schooling has come a long way.........

I bought my Z in 2003. I test drove both the AT and the MT. I wanted a fun car and both transmissions met the challenge. This car is awesome in either type! I balanced my daily drive (Baltimore stop and go) and price (the AT was $1800 less) and choose the AT. There have been times when I regretted my choice (autocrossing) and when I thanked my lucky stars (2 hour backup). Autocrossing is 1% of my life while the daily drive is 99%. Don't think I made a mistake.

I do wish the autostick shifted faster. The shift occurs about a half second after I move the stick. I am saving up for the valve body upgrade to fix this.

u would buy a auto, just so you wouldnt have to associate with this[me] retard. public schooling has come a long way.....

uh huh... if u are still in school, then u shouldnt make that mistake. if u are not... i'll forgive you if you are 30+ though. but still, doesnt it sound uhm... wrong when u read it out loud?

2ndly... that dont make sense... you would buy an auto so you wouldnt be associate with me when, i am the one attacking that auto driver... do you mean "i would buy a stick?".... or do you mean "so i would have to be associated with this [me] retard.

LOL...

public schooling DOES come a long way ... i went to a private school back then. university now.

i am 13 years old and i like to type fast... i do not wish to spend 30min typing and checking my grammar. this isnt english... im way pass english already.

my way of typing is just like your way of talking... you break alot of english rules when you talk. unless you talk like an experienced english professor, then you can tell me to type correctly.

...and your sentence is fragmented, mr english professor, please revise.

Only because of a certain person annoying everyone. Won't mention his name - figure if he's ignored he'll get bored and go annoy another forum.

To be fair, I don't think anyone knows what you are going on about. I have a Honda and a Z. I give them the same attention and maintenance. Why do you think the Z needs special care?
i dont... it was toward the OP... if the special case was needed "high oil consumption" or whatever... then if he wants a Z... then he needs to deal with it. i have yet to have a problem... but if they do arise and knew them ahead of time... i would still buy it. i dont base my decision on reliability... but toward what i like. example... if i had the money... i would buy a ferrari enzo, from what i heard... it is really unreliable... and you shouldnt drive it anymore than 1-2 times a week.... ok... shall be it.

Quote "why dont u give an opinion about what u think about stick drivers"

Try reading my posts. I can drive both. I happen to own an Auto Z. I don't mind whether someone drives m/t or a/t. You, my friend, are the one insulting people coz they drive auto. I always have mine in the shift mode.
mmm ok.

Quote "people are impressed if u drive a stick."

If you say so. I learned to drive a stick when I was 12. Yes it takes a little time just like learning to ride a bike. There really is nothing impressive about it.
KNOWING how to drive a stick in america, is a rare thing... less than 15% of population maybe? maybe u are not impressed... but those who dont drive stick are. i think almost every1 knows how to ride a bike... so there's nothing about that.

Try watching the world rally championship - the cars seem to glide round the corners. Then watch the camera views inside the car and the drivers feet. Thats impressive.
