The new VQ35HR has a small bung and a tube in the upper portion of the aluminum oil pan, the older ones just had a hole in the driver side head cylinder.

hmm ive been seeing a bunch of em at work lately, but i havent even noticed the hood much, ill keep a closer eye for it now....ima get a buddy to let me take out one of the pdis and see how she runs around that 7.5k
