glad your ok. pick up any model z besides the base. if u pln on modifying, stay away from the base (no lsd, etc) go 4 03-04 there cheaper, but there tranny is touchy. 06 and up has the good transmissions but has an oil burning problem (so i read) overall a good car, but if u live anywhere near snow, get a winter beater or dont drive lol, cuz there **** in the snow.

Welcome and glad to hear that you are OK. I posted Consumer Reports reliability data several times. Search is a great tool.

i have an 03. bought it used. i was frustrated with the problems at first, but everything is good now.

the transmission was grinding when i shifted, it was replaced under nissan's 60k mile power train warranty.

the passenger window stopped working, but was fixed under warranty. driver's side just went out, but spare window motor wasnt to much money. easy install.

tire wear on the front tires were wearing quicker than normal, but if your going to lower the car anyway then you can fix that witha camber/toe kit.

no oil problems.
