Wow lots of great reponses in here. Really appreciate the information that I'm getting

Devil Z: Thanks for the PM with all that information, that is a great starting point. Really answered most of the questions I had!

Cannysage: 07s can handle over 600whp? Must be some significant internals changes for the 07 model year. I'm mainly looking for a Z that is already TT'd and finding an 07 that this is done and someone already wants to unload is more than unlikely but would be nice.

Zya123: Thanks The GTO was pretty quick, the LS1 has a nice torque band. It really was a fun daily driver and was very comfortable to ride in. It had enough power to get out of its own way but it definitely needed a lot more power in my eyes.

joegengsta: I guess that's one way to put it. I've been pwned by you twice and you still are happy with a N/A Z I guess that really says a lot about this car.

jshin: Supra is another choice and power can be made easily but I just don't know if I want to spend so much on a car that old. The interior is a little dated for me and if I'm going to spend this much money I'd like to have it be something I can live with inside and out. Don't get me wrong the outside of those cars were ahead of their time and still look amazing. I think the Z has more to offer as a complete package for being a DD.

azula: Yeah it looks like I'll be sticking with the stock block for a while and achieving low 400s and see where that puts me. I'd like to get used to the cars behaviors around a track and stuff before I'd take it to the next level (built block and more boost).

I watched the videos of the 580whp car going from 40-150 and must say I'm impressed! Are there any videos floating around of cars in the low-mid 400whp range of the speedo on a full-throttle run? Thanks again guys!

As a new owner the Z has a very modern feel even compared to the interior of my '94 Mustang GT, which in it's time was modern/futuristic. If interior is incredibly important than you might also consider a G35, but to me it's has a much more "family sedan" feel to it.

The Z is an absolute joy to drive compared to FWD and AWD cars. Managing oversteer is a rewarding experience. Every day I see my car I get the feeling I'm living the dream, it's a sexy beast. No buyer's remorse here.
