The numbers I posted are for the Cayman S.
The Z will blow the doors off the 2.7 liter Cayman/Boxster.
I used to blow the doors off a standard Boxster with my '91 MR2 turbo.

those late edition MR2 turbo's were super quick. my roommate in college had a white one and it was a blast. i remember to this day hitting 160 on it. the feel, shifter, response, everything was great. it still remains for me one of the best cars i've driven so far.

The Cayman makes you look like a wanna-be. As does the Boxster. So girly looking. If your going Porsche and your serious, you go 911 997 (Carrera, S, 4, 4S, Targa, GT3, or Turbo) or Carrera GT.
If you've become a family man, the Cayenne is great too!

boxter is no comparison, however the cayman is about the same, the caymen S is sock running 13.2's and it's tuned very restricted, my friend has one and got it tuned and let it breath and he's running mid 12's

Im sorry, but there is no way in hell I would buy an RSX over a Cayman S if I had the money (directed toward a few people with no offense).
There's a reason Porsche's are so expensive.
Goodluck with your decision!

The video posted above compared the standard 245 HP Boxster, and of course it is no match for the a 300HP Z.

No kidding! People need to stop blurting out kickass cars as though money isn't an issue. The fact that people are even mentioning the 911 in this thread other than for comparison with the Cayman S is just plain ridiculous.

Or do dealerships start them off at less than MSRP?
