That's a pretty ballsy assumption, mostly because you're wrong in many cases, including with me. I'm sure some people feel the way you describe, but I doubt it's the majority.

Whatever happened to being happy with what you have?

yea honestly that really is a retared comment from the Other guy because, most people with the 287 motor 1/4 wise post better times . And most people with teh revup dont even use it for the track where its 30% difference on a road race course is only evident. engines get better through time. And the same feeling between the 287 and the revup is not the same as the HR. Since thats a real change as far as power is concerned not the 30% tweak that they did with the DE to make teh vq35DER

i love the revup motor ...its got a real nice top peak. But to say that 287 owners are loosing sleep over it its kinda retarted.

I'm just gonna throw in my .02. I had an 03 AT that I traded in on an 06 MT and I can honestly say that the 03 AT felt a little bit faster, although the 03 didn't pull as hard at higher rpm's. Correct me if I am wrong but more torque like my 03 had will feel faster from a dig and more HP like the 06 will pull harder at higher rpm's thus making the 03 feel faster. I ran a 14.3 in the 03 and a 14.1 with the 06 both cars only had an intake and exhaust + chrome 20's that made me even slower.

the revup makes more peak hp ( alot less tq )....really with the higher rpm you would only realize its strength 2 ways. Top end run with a 287 ont he highway equal driver , or on a road race course. Other then that 1/4 you really are better off with a 287. lesser tq in a 1/4 race isnt really the key to a win. But top end hp pravails on a top speed highway run or road race course (depends on course)
