Rear tires broke traction, fronts still had traction, so the rear swings around to the right (down towards gravity) and flung the car across the road. Trust me I was pissed that it happened. Good luck with the insurance co. and the repairs. Dealing with the bastards handling your claim tends to be worse than the event itself.

It's been raining all day, and should be all weekend, in FL. That's why I've been so cautious about driving on the way home from work. But I don't have to worry about clutching, my auto transmission is so easy to drive through the rain without having to focus on anything but the road.
