I have an enthusiast, comes with LSD and traction control. I don't think even VDC would've helped in this situation...and at 35mph I don't think I was exactly hauling ***.

I don't think ppl understand how bad the roads were that day due to the first hard rain of the season.

There were accidents EVERYWHERE.

Yup. It took the cops an hour to get to the scene due to being tied up with so many other calls.

Yea i don't get it either.. I moved from Australia, which has severe rain storms to Canada, with icey/snowy roads 7 months of the year.. Best of both worlds

My last car was a RB20 skyline with a 2540 turbo.. That equals a very small power band around 5-7500. Which means the boost DUMPS on you..

I drove the car in the rain for two years and never had a problem. I've driven in winter here for 4 years and never had a freak accident in a "straight line"...

Im sorry for the incident.. But i wish people would take ownership of some of these things.. Its always the cars fault.. Or the conditions..

Ok, I would really love for you to take a spin on the road I was on which has a steep slope to it right after it started raining after it hasn't in a month. Why is that important? Lots of oil and grime creating a film making for a nice slippery surface. Point of the matter is you weren't there.

No i wasn't.. So we'll never know fully.. Plus like you said these things happen so fast..

I can tell you though that where i currently live. Edmonton. Has the worste roads of any place in the world i've been. Due to the cold weather and the MASS amounts of trucks, most of the roads here have massive grooves (big enough that you can high center a lowered car). So im no stranger to less than perfect roads..

I don't think it's the fact that the road was crappy but more so the rain. We aren't used to such a long period without rain so when it does finally come we aren't used to the conditions from all the oil and grime.

I try not to drive during the first rain after a really long time without any.
