carbon fiber is an excellent composite. the tensile strength is stronger than steel and just as light as titanium. of course, resin to fabric ratio must be at utmost optimum in order to achieve the above characteristics. the less resin to fabric along with pressurization onto the composite matrix yields a more denser material for the most amount of tensile strength. that being said, carbon fiber IS a luxury and is considered an exotic. ask ferrari, mosler and pagani why they use it for aesthetics and function... because it works.

my preference of carbon fiber is to reveal the weave as much as possible. i don't like too much plastics embedded in them... a lot of wet layups and some vacuum baggers use too much clear gelcoat on their molds. sure the superficial layer of the product may be straight and true, but if you look at the weave at an angle from the light, you can see ripples in the weave itself. to minimize such characteristics of imperfect weaves without the use of an autoclave, vacuum infusion is the next best thing: draw in resin to the product from the vacuum, for higher fabric to resin ratio.

now that finals are over... going to experiment with composites this summer.

haha yea...long way...

I've seen both of them up close, and the fitment is no comparison. And I think without looking at yours at all, i already know where the gaps are...right between where the A Pillar connects to the hatch? And maybe some gaps between the hatch and the rear bumper?

my Asuka fits perfectly. With the gap between the A pillar and the hatch itself *slightly* bigger than oem. I'm sure you'll like it. Just that the Asuka integrated wing may not like your SBC mounting points too well lol...

Check out the brains on trackpilot. He made the "a" bold and spelled the word f@g. Did you think of that all by yourself? I'm really proud of you.

People post **** about taking a ****. Does that mean it's justifiable? You went out of your way to let everyone know what your house looks like.

Did you feel extra insecure that day? Are you that lonely that you need a bunch of people you've never met to reassure you that you're not a total f*ck up?

And you didn't answer your d-bag move of checking out my old posts AND the OP's old posts. I'm sure all your ex's are probably scared of you since your probably a stalker...

Oh ok I see, monkey see monkey do. Quite pathetic.

Of course you don't care what anyone else thinks of you. You just like to post pictures of your house for gits and shiggles.

Seriously though "your" is not the same as "your are" or "you're". I bet anyone that's ever been on a plane with you is probably scared for their life.
