I actually have the power cut to the VDC thanks to a hand made switch that I installed in my coin drawer.

the Z is my daily driver, so for daily driving, it's best to keep TCS on. when I want to fool around though... ;-)

so i guess you could say i "lean back" :P
Wait so your rear tires are shorter than your front tires?

My fronts are higher profile than the rears. But I have 17"s front, 18"s rear.

ALWAYS off; TCS screws with my turbos and everything apparently. Doesn't let me pull much harder than stock form (an exaggeration, but you get the point).

However if it rains I'll always leave it on.

I see basically 3 different opinions regarding tcs/vdc...

1. Always or mostly on (sounds smart to me).
2. Always off (cept in rain) because real men don't use traction control. (Why turn it on in the rain then, if such a good a driver. Why not also get rid of the seat belts, ABS, airbags, etc.?).
3. Always off (cept in rain, etc.) because it is negatively affected by vehicle mods. Understandable.

usually off except in the rain. I have to say I've been leaving it on more recently lately but that's because it's ALWAYS FREAKING RAINING.

i have a 10 min commute to work monday-friday so i just leave it on, no point in turning it off for a 10 min traffic ride. I do turn it on if i need to go through the gears quick (switching lanes, merging onto highway or just ****s and giggles).

Pretty much the only time I turn traction control off in my ZO6 is when at the track. Otherwise, I leave it on. I'm able to enter freeways, change lanes, etc. just fine with it on.
