I love this modern-day horsepower war! It's fantastic, and much better than the muscle-car wars of the late 60s: this time we have cars that handle and stop, too! When an average income person can have a choice of such incredibly powerful and sexy machines, this is truly a great time to be a car (esp. sports car) enthusiast. I wonder if this is a rare time in history and it will all end soon (like in the 70s) or how far this will go? In 15 years will we all have 600hp supercars, or 90hp 70MPG diesel or electrics?

Well, whatever the case, we have our Zs now, let's enjoy it while we can!

Well... the new Z from beginning to end was all "real."

The Supra... no concept, no real engine to look at or be familiarized with... just words.

I still like the last generation Supra turbo though.... but it was a tad expensive and hard to find.

And personally, ONE LESS SUV or MINIVAN on the road will be a sight for sore eyes. I'm really bored of looking at big square vehicles everywhere. While these vehicles have there place, I find people too "Lemming" like for my likings.

What ever happened to individuality, style and finesse. Bigger is NOT always better. Talking from a European point of view, it appears that too many Americans think bigger IS better.

We have people working for my company that drive to work every day (read "office in a City area") in F250's. Why does anyone need a bloody F250 unless they own a Farm or Business?

Am I alone here, or do others share my frustration?
There's a guy at my workplace that has been having a major midlife crisis. He drives a huge F350 4WD Crew Cab Long Bed (with cap) every day to work, or his Harley-Davidson when the weather is nicer. He traded-in his red Corvette when he bought the F350.
He could be trying to compensate for something being small.
