Default Gas Mileage Update

Just curious to see if your Z's fuel efficiency is improving. After 6 months, I'm averaging 24.5 mpg according to the trip computer. I get at least 400 miles per fill up and that's with city and highway driving.

It's amazing how this car keeps getting better and better. Each time I get behind the wheel, I appreciate more my decision to get one.

The Z rocks!

My Z has only 984 miles on it. (I've only had it for 6 days )

my fills ups have yeilded me 21.2, 22.6, 24.1 At this rate in a few months I should be up to 40.4

Sounds like you guys need to get out of the slow lane and drive the car a bit harder

After the Odometer reads 1200 it'll be more like... "Life in the Fast Lane"

I get 19-20 mpg.

But I do drive the car hard. I think my right foot is glued to the gas pedal. Also, lots of revving, since I am practicing rev-matching.

Well...atleast the gas prices are coming down now that we have captured the world's second largest oil reserves.

City and HWY combined, I average about 18.1 mpg to 18.7 mpg, depending on how I drive.

I have appoximately 8K miles on the car.

Default Hmmm ...

... I must be doing something really wrong. I'm only getting between 16 and 16.5. Not much highway driving yet - pretty much all city stuff.

Must be all that slowing down when I see cop cars. Truth be told, I feel like a magnet for police since I got my Z ... I've never felt so "safe and protected" in my life. ::::gagging::::

People still aren't posting the avg speed with the mpg readings?

I filled up today (600 miles on it so far). The reading right before fillup was 22 mpg, 30 mph avg speed. (commuting)

Average Speed = 23
MPG = 17.7

I do mostly city driving. It has been improving over time. I now have about 4400 miles on the car.

Love it.

Good point, without the avg mph, avg mpg is meaningless. I average 18.7 mpg for 23 mph average with 1400 miles on the car. My commute is basically stop and go with a little freeway occasionally thrown in.

MPG - 24.6
A/Spd - 49 mph

After 8900 miles this seems to be consistant. I have a 30 mile drive to work and 20 miles are interstate.

420 miles on a 6spd Performance and im around 22.8mpg @ 33 mph avg. Lots of freeways here in Houston. 8-) Oh and ive already hit the high 90's a couple of times.

<note: if u are HPD, the 90 was a typo and should have read 60>

25.0 MPG
39 MPH Average
15,000 Miles

35% Mountain HWY (3500 RPM +)
65% HWY (usually about 80-85 MPH)

Got about 6 MPG at the track.
