After a while it becomes 2nd nature. You don't even have to think about it.

those are the wheels I track, so I don't care what people think of them. they are 17lbs and I guess you didn't notice that they are also 17"'s. There is a reason I use 17" wheels and tires and if any of you are racers you will know why.

I can post pics of the car with the Works VSXX 19" X 11" wheels if you like. That is what I roll on on the street.
and more than likely Kym would never even talk to you let alone anything else.

He came out of the woodwork, but hopefully he is back in there. Yeah, I don't believe he is 23 either. He probably doesn't have a Z and if he does his momma bought it for him. I think he has the hots for me though....he spent the time to check out my profile.

I swear to fuking god, the quality of members goes down the cheaper the Z gets and the more movies it's in.

yeah, my automatic only has a full Nismo S suspension under it and the poor Z only had 248 RWT on the dyno when it was bone stock. I'm going outside right now to shoot it in the windshield. Well maybe I won't since it won the Z Car Garage Drag racing series at Infineon Raceway for me. Out of 30+ Z's racing over a period of 8 months I was the only auto competing. Yeah, it's a keeper and I do have fun with it.. The most enjoyable part was letting the 6MT guys see me put on the brakes a couple hundred feet before I go over the finish line to make sure I don't break out.

most of the noobs seem to hang out in this section. Maybe it is safer here. They haven't lived until they have been butt raped by you.

This is probably VandyG's first standard tranny car so he feels like he's Vin Diesel.

^^If you’re on the original transmission, I agree. Nissan swapped in a new one for me (to fix the infamous grinding problem). The new transmission is a big improvement.

So far, no one’s mentioned how slowly the Z's RPMs drop (not sure if that’s the case with the 2007 Z). I find this very annoying when doing fast up-shifts while running up the engine speed with a MT. I noticed the same problem when driving a manual G35, so it must be something with Nissan/Infiniti.

I wonder if this is the reason guys running AT’s have more consistent acceleration results and turn in better numbers than MT drivers. With the manual transmission I find myself waiting a fraction of a second to do a fast up-shift when the RPM’s are high. It’s all about timing with the MT. My bet is the AT handles this problem much better.

I love the throttle response of the Z compared to my wrx... seriously

I mean you guys have probably heard this all before, but it was light night and day going from wrx to my Z. I love how fast it revs and drops, makes it MUCh easier than my wrx to heel/toe and revmatch downshifts and double clutches.

Quick Reply: I applaud you MT drivers. I really do...
