Worried here, no vin or tracking# and ordered on 2/5
hey guys, i called my dealer and they have no info on my order. from what i understand, people are getting e-mails about vin#'s and i havent gotten mine yet?
starting to get a little worried. i didnt even reciece a tracking #...
what is going on? or am i just too anxious?

OK I finally got everything together
After weeks of anticipation and problems .. i found out that my order address was incorrectly written by my dealer and had most of my mailings to get lost .. doh!! ..
but there is light at the end of the tunnel because i have my order number and VIN and expected delivery of early Sept.

Well i ordered in Feb. but dealer didnt fax it in till middle of march.
Im just glad by some luck that my order got in there and i am actually looking at my dealers fax with order # / vin # .. etc .. etc..

Mine is in the 1500's. JN1AZ34F83T0015** Did anyone mention the significance of the letter after the Z34? Anyone else with an F in the "model specific" part of the VIN? On Scaf's VIN soup page, I am the only one with an "F" listed.

According to Courtesyparts - "F" means you have passive belt and air bag - I have a "D" there - air bags w/ 3 point belts - designation from Courtesy must be out of date, or maybe someone didn't read your VIN correctly.

I have a bad feeling that if I bring you along my invoice price may go up along with some "oh sorry sir, we just noticed these scratches along the side of your car" haha. I'm actually at the UCI Med Center in orange, so I'm not too far away either. However I wouldn't be able to hit golf ***** at the dealership. First I've gotta figure out what a 3 wood is. (I'm not into golf, can ya tell?)

I've spoken to Andrea Coultas, the fleet manager. She has returned all of my calls and even had an assistant call me to give me a update on the delivery date.

Holy crap RainmanZ, you're getting screwed!! I mean a 09/05/05 delivery date!! I thought I was bad off because I ordered on 1/22 and won't get mine until late Sept/early Oct. Not as bad off as jsz though. Feel for ya, buddy.

I called my dealer today and was told that my car is in transit on a ship, the first ship, and that delivery would be in September.
Does this make sense? Anyone have any idea as to how many cars would be on this first ship? Or how many cars one of these ships can hold in total?
My take on this is that there's got to be some cars being dlivered in August that probably were shipped in very limited numbers on prior ship(s) and this "first" ship is realy the first shipment of a significant or substantial number of cars. Does that make sense?
My VIN is JN1AZ34D13T101319, the car being a chrome silver touring-automatic.
I orderred in late March from a high volume dealer in Masachusetts that had an original allocation of 18 cars, I was #16 of the 18.
Does this make sense? Anyone have any idea as to how many cars would be on this first ship? Or how many cars one of these ships can hold in total?
