If you makes you feel any better man, it's not that big of a deal. You probably learned a great deal after that spin out.

Estimated cost to pull 350z out of muddy ditch- 200$
Clean pair of underwear- 20$

Why not just straight out say you drove without VDC on, you took a turn too hot, and you f*cked up....Some people will give you sh*t and flame you, but most will respect you for telling the truth and owning up to your f*ckup. Ive done my share of sh*t, but Ive learned from my sh*t. Why make up some ridiculous story homie? Good luck with any repairs ....
maybe, but in the end a bug still caused him to loose control of his car

I just got out of my car. The VDC button is not all that inaccessible. I dont know why this i so hard to believe? Im not a big guy. 5'9''' maybe 175. If you lean foward and push yourself up you can hit the damn button accidently. And the way I jumped when I felt and saw this pre-historic flying beast on my leg im not surprised it got hit. Compiling the fact I was in MID turn at 30mph, shifting and hit a patch of water. Put all that crap together, happening at once and you got youreslf an accident. So, dont believe me. i dont care anymore. Im just glad myself and the car are fine.

I have a feeling that it was when you pushed in the clutch in the corner that your car started to slip.
Edit: I also have a feeling that you could have been going downhill.

As I stated before... you shouldn't be shifting midway in a wet corner. VDC is not thy enemy. Bad driving decisions and bug phobias are.

VDC is always on when you turn the car back on unless you have a mod to turn it off for you.
