In these past four months of owning the car, I've only had 2 or 3 try to race me. Even then though, they seem to back off once they see that I'm a girl.

I think they just assume my baby's an automatic.

What a shame...

Last nite on my way from NC to GA, a damn fool with a Civic LX, full of crazy graphics, the Fast and Furious wing and fart can... Guy was funny! Tried to do the whole ricer fly by, but got smoked in the process! His car wouldn't go over 105 mph or so, and it took him for ever to get there!!! I pitty the fool...

 

I get those new damn GTO's tryen to race me with 400 or so stock HP. .less they don't know how to drive im a tad faster in the take off and when we hit traffic 4 getta bout it. . . .

 

Just last night a guy in a 300C(not sure if it was an SRT-8) pulled up and started jumping around at the light like he was high or something, so I knew it was on lol. Put the gas down stayed side by side and then I creeped away, not to mention only him in his car and I had myself and a friend.

I may have had two or three prople try to race me. I think an '05 Mustang GT, a Ford F250 diesel (those ***s!!), and a BMW Z4 but the M series so I'm thinking it may be an M4? whatever! I was pretty sure he would tear me a new one but you win some and you lose some some right.... he turned off!!! that ba***rd!! He instigated the whole thing! WTF? Other than that maybe when I'm at a stoplight a mustang revs at me from the gas station parking lot.
Anyone ever hook up with a mazdaspeed 6? I've been trying to race the guy but he always has some excuse... I just wanna know how it turns out.

 

A guy in a new Civic Si told me my 350Z was slow. The saga continues.......

 

i raced a mazda speed 6 on nj's parkway. .with a bad thermostat that never let my car reach engine temp normalcy. .still rocked up but he was close and i wasn't tryen to blo wup my engine although it showed cold. .

 

easy one. They want to see how a stock Z compares to someone who dumped a bunch of money on theirs. I'm curious myself, but I have yet to see a 'performance' modded Z in my area.

lol if your a modded z you can take a 5.7 that is bolt on or a stock 6.0...the lsx responds very well to mods. my bf has a m6 6.0 gto and he is 120 whp greater then me at 400whp/400tq (modded and tuned, soon to be 475 ish at least after heads cam! ). when he was i/e only he pulled me 2 cars on my sh!tty top speed tune.

i have beat modded 05-07 gt mustangs, e46 m3s, a 13.4 altima (by two cars), a modded e36 m3, 13.5 sec 05 sti, yadda yadda...but i wont mess with ls2s unless i know its a stock 6.0 gto.

 

I have a G coupe. and i get it all the time! at least 3 times a day! at LEAST!!

My problem is I never know when a race in on. I never get rev'd at. I'll be at a stop light and take off quickly, not really racing and out of the corner of my eye I see some idiot trying to. So, I'll lay back and let them go because I don't want one of those tickets. However, I have been known to beat a few people to the merge and keep going if you know what I mean?

I always feel so bad because I know better and have taken it to the track for the last 20 years or so. The last time I did one of these moves in the Z it was a freeway merge and I found myself over 100 way much sooner than I thought. So, I backed it right back down to the speed limit and cooled it for a long ways.

Power is intoxicating ...... Do your best to keep it on the track guys. It's so tough but, the life you might save is your own. On the track, there isn't some old man going to jump out in front of you and kill you or your ride. So be cool, be safe !!!

 

You're right, but I still find myself getting caught up in the light to light ********...hadda take out an 81 Z28 muscle car last week...three times...cause the guy kept revving at me thinking I didn't have a chance...it was fun, but at the same time I'm fortunate all went smoothly.
