Question If you could swap models at the last minute, would you do it?

Let's face it. Some people are going to have to drop out of the game and not take delivery of their pre-order cars. If a car came up for grabs at your dealer that was maybe another color or trimline that you wanted, would you go for it even though all of your cool memorabilia (pre-confirmation letter, confirmation letter, info pak) would no longer have any significant tie-in to a particular car?

I kinda want a Track...

I am really happy with my order. I really love great brakes, so I had to order track. Also, those 18 inch forged wheels are a sweet *** deal.

Yeah, I think if an Enthusiast became available, I'd jump on it if given the chance. But, I'll be just as happy with my Silverstone base. Now, if I could just get my damn VIN!

I wouldn't change models, but maybe colors. The silverstone certainly seems to hold all the lustre I hoped it would, but you never know in person. I still think the enthusiast is the best value. Man, that Daytona looks sweet in person!

With all I'm hearing about the carbon cloth seats, I probably would have gotten a performance model 6 speed rather than the touring AT. You guys/gals have filled the gap of info such that I would have given up the Bose sound system also. Oh well, I can always trade it in if the seats don't keep my coolie warmed enough in the winter.

If I could change (and not delay!!!) I think I'd switch the interior color of the Daytona Touring MT from black to frost leather.

Oh man, what a good topic and precisely what my dealer called me about the other day. I have a few people expecting Z's before me at my dealer, he figures that a couple of them might neg on the deal and wanted to know if I'd be interested. Here in Canada, the only models available are the Track, Performance (manual) and Touring (auto). I ordered Performance. I think that I would stay with that model but as for the color, I would have to see it in person. I ordered Silverstone and really am happy wiht my choice in the pictures and video that I see on here, but I gotta admit that the LeMans just keeps growing on me. That is a hot color.

If my dealer calls me, I'm certainly going to think seriously about it.

Nope, already ordered Track. Gotta have my Brembos and RAYS.

The only downside I see from ordering Track is that the holes pre-drilled for the spoiler would be visible if I take it off and install the NISMO spoiler. And I would hate to use Bondo on a brand spanking new car.
Yeah, I gotta have my Brembos and RAYS too, but remove the stock spoiler????? Sacrilege!

I kinda wish I got the Track instead of the Touring. But all in all I'm pretty happy with what I will get. I just love those Rays on the Track!
