do not purchase from kayfunk
Here, I will make it easy for you and re-post. I honestly wanted to see your view of things, of course, that was prior to your
post about spelling and grammar.
post about spelling and grammar.

Even with all that being true or not, what's got me puzzled is YOU being the seller who has repeatedly claimed you never saw the exhaust, didn't bother to look yourself at the exhaust once it came off!? Shouldn't you actually have been the first to inspect it since you knowingly were selling it without having ever seen it until that day?
If I read correctly from your other post your friend took the exhaust off your car and installed the new one on to yours right? So you had just as much chance to inspect it as well, which you should have done.
You are just as much to blame as he is for not inspecting the exhaust, if not more since you were the one selling it and were the one who SOLD it prior to inspection. I know in one post you admit to being in just as much fault for not checking it either and that you called him the idiot for not checking....but in my opinion the importance on inspecting fell greater in you doing it. That's like a chef sending out a dish and disregarding the dead rat in it and having the customer eat through it until finally discovering the rat....guess who usually wins when that happens?
The fact that you admit you should have inspected it as well means, right there, at that admittal, you should refund, regardless of what he's done in thread's on here about your character. I am sure, using that same chef/rat example that you would have made a scene at the restaurant if you were the customer and continue it even after getting a refund...and then I am sure you would have gone and told all your friend's NEVER to eat there again...regardless of the restaurant trying to do what's right after the mistake. Well, the buyer is in that position as well. So, in my opinion, your stance on "principle" just can't really hold as an argument.
I'm really not trying to take side's but with my parent's owning a restaurant for 15+ years and myself being in the mortgage business this is a classic example where the customer has every right to argue, *****, moan, and provide negative feedback. To me, it seems more like you are being hard headed. I see where you think offering to pay for the "fixes" as being nice, but again, that's like telling the customer who ate the dish with a rat that you'd be more than happy to take the rat out of the dish and re-heat the remaining food and do nothing more since he should have seen the rat prior to eating.
Also, I do think at least one refund is in order as you allegedly took care of the installation for him when you said you left $50 for your friend, but it appears the buyer still paid another $50 out of his pocket once it was completed. Unless him not hvaing to pay like I read in a post wasn't actually part of the agreement.

The follow up.

From the time he opened this thread only 3 people responded before yours and none bashed you (and in the link for the thread that he's selling you were actually the first response once he said he was no longer selling it). At the moment of your first post you easily could have apologized, let him know he was also wrong for not checking, and that you would be more than glad to refund it....upon doing that, do you really think you would have lost all respect on here? I think not, in fact you probably would have gained it.
Sure he made an initial statement that was pretty harsh, but anyone would have with what he discovered. BUT Kramykram obviously would have stopped right there and would have probably thanked you publicly for the refund and for being an HONEST seller...and it all would ahve stopped right there. Instead it's now gotten to this point where you truly are being labeled the red headed step child when you could have avoided it, easily.

Hey Kayfunk, I thought you said that YOU paid for this guy's installation. You are such a LIE Kayfunk. You have been CAUGHT again.
Anyways, KramyKram, I was at Keesler for a bit in 2006. Is HWY 90 still screwed up?

You easily could have without your name being "ruined" That excuse needs to go out the window please.

I did actually. Mark should have called me when they asked him for another $50 and i would have had that waived. I paid 50 to my mechanic before i left for work, however, the owner of the shop was aware that they were paying $50 and asked for it when mark was at the front. Another negligent thing from mark. I told him specifically he wouldn't be charged, yet he failed to call or at least text me to tell me they were trying to charge him $50, i would have had that taken care of. I've already stated this, by now, it's ring around the rosie. It's all he said she said ********, its pretty tiring. I proven my statements over and over and you dolts refuse to look at the facts.

This situation got ugly because mark was impatient and couldn't wait for me to make a phone call to him. Now my rep is ruined.

LAME EXCUSE!!!! Is it ever to late to do the right thing?
eh no responses to my posts that clearly made sense.
paranoid don't believe the "losing rep" excuse. He didn't lose it until after a few reply posts he made. He would still have "rep" if he just wasn't so hard headed.

I've offered to do the right thing, fix the exhaust. Again, I'm not going out of my way to help someone who went out of their way to do the exact opposite.

Wrong, i was already getting bashed in the link to marks for sale thread before i even posted in here. It was full of, "you're a scammer this and that" before i got a chance to say anything. I didn't even know there was anything wrong with the exhaust until i came into the thread to find pictures from Mark a DAY LATER. Mark said he didnt like the sound, and that's all i knew.
Been there done that seen it, it's as simple as this. Kayfunk was the hustler, Kramykram got hustled, when you get hustled, you aint getting your money back
I hope you do though, but if you dont man dont be suprised.
