I've been trying to sell my 05 Touring with 32k on it for 2 months now with no luck, starting price was over $24k, now its $22800. Just for the hell of it I went to Carmax last night to get an appraisal. They came back at $20k even, I expected their offer to be 18500 or so. They also had it listed as an Anniversary Edition (I do have the newer rims). I'm tempted to sell it to them, but I think I can hold out for 1500-2000 more with a private sale.

Either way I'll be sad to see it go. What do you guys think, Carmax or no Carmax?

For dealership to buy your 05 350Z for $20 grand is not bad, they must see that they can make $1500 - $3000 out of the deal. For a quick sell that is not bad but I think you can make that extra $1500-$2000 if you hold out.
As u know Sports cars sell best in the summer time, winter time people are looking for bargains.

Like I stated before if you had bought a 06 -05 RX-8 for $34k you'd only be able to get $18-$17k for it and if it was 6 spd maybe $500 more.

new model on the way, defective "RevUp" buy backs / lemons are hitting the net too dragging down those years, housing prices crashes and many people's toy's have to go to keep the foreclosures away.

Now is a great time to buy though, which is why I bought my 03 just recently, paid 17k fully loaded.
