Default Sad Story... =( hate nissan

I bought a Z like a week ago and i thought it was 350ZR GT but they gave me the 350ZR T but the thing is all the paper says 350Z Roadster Grand Touring and this car has a orange seats which is GT and same wheels as 350ZR GT so i thought it was GT but i got wrong one so I went to nissan dealer that I got my car from and told them what happend.

I talked to 3 manager who work for nissan and they said i'm sorry blablabla
they also told me that I can't get my money back and its not their resposbility...
what a BS
i know i should've check everything before sign on the paper but i couldn't tell the difference..
like i said all the paper shows 350ZR GT =(

anyways they kept saying that the Autotrader, Printer company's fault =( Reason that i got mad cause the Nissan boss came up to me and he didn't say anything to me first and then he told me "SEE YOU AT THE COURT" and he left...

thats why i got pissed off... =(

i know there is not that difference between GT and T and I got GT wheels and GT seats and shitty feeling inside of my mind.

GT got BremboŽ braking system Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) and T doesn't..

They said they will give me the Z-tech(clean the engine and stuff i can use it for twice a year, this coupon valid for 3yrs ($399), and unlimited free car wash (but normal coupon got 3yrs for $99 but i get unlimited) and 9 times free engine oil change (about $400) and EMPLOYEE discount on brembo break and also employee discount on install (i've heard that they get 50% off or more)

Shoud I take this offer and drive a Z around?

or should I sue them?

P.S sorry about my bad English.

I would use the chain of command, escalate the situation, and document EVERYTHING. No sure if you have a case or not, but if your bill of sale or other OFFICIAL paperwork states that you bought and paid a specific price for a specific trim level when, in fact, that was not the case, I think you have a valid point. If it was just a magazine ad, then probably not.

If the final sales invoice says GT and you didn't get a GT then tell them they better give you a GT or they'll be hearing from your lawyer on the bases of bait and switch.

On another note, yeah it was partially your fault for not doing your homework but the sales invoice gives you grounds to disput if it says GT.

The parties that signed the written contract are responsible for contents of the contract. If it says GT then you bought a GT and they have to deliver a GT. If it says T then they sold you a T and you bought a T. Whatever was said is meaningless in the face of a written and signed contract.

You've got them. He was trying to intimidate you when he said "See you in Court."

If they knew they had it in the bag do you think they would go as far as offering you all that free stuff? They just don't want to buy back a car that has been used or already registered. If you take them to court you will win.

its jsut as much your fault for not knowing what your were buying.
Did you buy this new or used? New then you kinda have a fight. If used, I would say you dont have much going even though its ****ed up

is it new or used? If its used well that complicates issues greatly.

What does the sales invoice say?

Don't take the free stuff. They may say in court that they offered you the free stuff to make up for the mistake. The courts may say you accepted the free stuff as payment and you would get screwed.

I agree if it says GT thats what you bought, thats bull if you get ripped off. Should of done some more research though.

Lawyer up man! Its the fastest way to go. Some lawyers can sign a contract with you if they dont get what you want you don't have to pay them. I hired a lawyer in early 2004 to lemon my previous Z and they started behaving differently.

Also if the car sold is not what was told to you that you were getting...........isn't that also considered a lemon? I'm not sure, just wondering.

Also I had them pay at the end for my lawyer fees which I believe you should include in a lawsuit.

Sorry to hear man. Hope you get what you want and paid for.

I agree if the contract states it's a Grand Touring which cost extra and they sold you a Touring which is slightly cheaper vehicle then they are wrong.

Because the trim levels are so close you are not responcible for checking out their products truth. Just like if you bought a higher priced orange and all the paper work says its an orange and turned out to be a tangerine. You paid for a Orange they need to bring you a Orange or give you the difference or money back. Anything to satisfy you and the contract.

Almost like the Burger King commerical you didn't pay for a Big Mac you paid for a Grand Touring. They own you, Man.

Its time to bring the dogs/lawyers in, Sickem!

I agree with most posts here. Get a lawyer and you will win, given that the contract says you purchased a GT.

The only reason they offered you all that free stuff is because they know they are in the wrong. He said, "See you in court" to intimidate you. Judging by all the =('s it worked.
