My Final Soup Ingredients
Scaf, you can add this info to the soup to my previous "ingredients". My Brickyard 6mt showed up on Nissans web site last Thursday. Dealer called this morning 9/3, and picked it up this afternoon. Super!

Just adding to the soup here:
Silverstone / Burnt Orange / 6MT / All Options
Baltimore MD Area
Delivery Sept 3-4
VIN: JN1AZ34E83T0001XX
My dealer tells me tommorow or the next day, but I don't see it on nissandriven.com. Should I be worried?

Those last 2 posts just don't seem right.
BarnicleBoy has a VIN, but a del'y that is out 6-7 weeks?
Kyushu's order gets bumped out from Sept to Nov?
I'm not doubting you were both given this info....but I guess I am questioning the accuracy of it. I hope both are incorrect, and find out the real info soon.

6 weeks doesn't seem too far off at this point. When the first group got their VINs a lot of them were given dates in mid-late September that were then pulled up as the cars got here. They may also be allowing for the possibility of a strike on the west coast.
Even worse is someone with a MAY order has a VIN and a delivery date while many of us Jan-Feb orders do not.

Another change in delivery date
Scafreman it seems that Seattle_350Z and I have had our delivery date "pushed back" a week...now it is 9/11, not today. reading other threads on this forum , it seems to be a problem all over, not just in seattle...what do you think is up? Longshoreman crap or chip crap? heck our cars are still in long beach and they haave benn there for weeks...go figure. Thanks for all of your good data work ,we love it.

May orders with VIN, while kinda depressing, also portray hope for those that ordered earlier. We have had a few people get VIN's and delivery in a very short period (like 3 weeks from VIN rec'd, to car rec'd).
KYUSHU's info though dampens any possible excitement of things going smoothly.
Who knows....

I drove my Chrome silver Enthusiast away today (9-5-02) from my South Bend, Indiana, dealer today at noon. (VIN ...T001472). It's everything all the new owners have said it is, and more. Good luck and great driving to all owners of future deliveries.
