I drove all last winter in an Ohio snow/ice/slush. It was fun. Really, it wasn't bad with the traction control and all season tires - the only issue is when there is 8" of snow and your front bumper is 4" off the ground.

Here is my annual contribution to running the Z during the winter months on snow and ice.
Configuration: 17” wheels with pure snow tires. I’m using Dunlop snow tires, 225/55-17” all-square on a VDC-equipped Z, and it’s worked perfectly now for three winter seasons.
Pics:
Notice the ugly wheel-offset which keeps the tires way-inside the wheel-wells to prevent “sand-blasting” the sides of my car. It "ain't purdy," but it sure runs great in snow and on ice
Of course, past 4 inches of snow, I use my Jeep; but anthing less than this, the Z works great and safely with 4 snow tires.
