Dont worry about it.. Get your car fixed at an approved shop from the other cars insurance company. They normally do have you pay your deduct. and then get it back for you when they get the money from the other parties insurance.

That violation right there puts the blame automatically on the SUV..

Plus there's no way in chance to see that SUV coming through behind an equivalent sized SUV, you're POV is too low in a Z to see it in time. And the brown SUV driver is an idiot for letting him crossover a double line to make an illegal left turn. He's should get a ticket for assisting it.

As for INS company not helping you out, like someone has stated, get a new company, that's BS if they dont back up a client, especially when they can't see it's clearly not your fault.

To those who said it that the driver should've been aware to his position while driving, because there were 2 or 3 cars blocking the view of the SUV's movement with the OP's speed already decreasing as he approaches the turn, there would've been no way to stop in time unless he was driving less than 10mph on the street, where in which if you were driving that slow, 1) you shouldn't be driving a Z and 2) you shouldn't be driving period, you should be riding the bus.

sorry for not giving updates, i thought the thread was dead.

as far as insurance goes, the other guys insurance sent me a check for ~3900.00.

so far, i purchase 2008 headlights, new pass. fender, and repaired the damage to the front right.

immediately after i got the check, i ordered kit from peter@m1autosport but the fitment was way off so i had to send it back and was sent another one. but that one was also bad so now him and i are working something out so that i can get some type of refund on the kit to buy another kit from shine

took about 2-3 weeks for me to get the check from the insurance
and the rest was problems with fitment.

sorry no update pictures yet because its just pretty much the same except for whats listed

yeah even if i have slammed the brakes, there would still be an accident because the roads were wet and i was going at least 35 mph.

i have falkens tires on at that moment.
