GTR is nice but maybe we need a true High Performance sports car...
Maybe what Nissan needs is a true SPORTS CAR to compete with comparison(ZR1,GT3,some may not understand.2seater,AWD and plenty of boost.!Then there would be no doubt. The Z would be a perfect plat form.
you are crazy. the GTR just came out and it already is re-writing the definition of a performace machine. Nissan is is so forward thinking with the first with the 240z and then with the R35 , they are in a league of their own....

I think the exact OPPOSITE is true!
The GT-R performs like a $200k car, but only costs less than half that much. The GT-R is an amazing machine and even won Popular Science's award for tech of the year. Nissan proved you could make a maniacal machine without costing the driver his second mortgage. The car even dislocated Jeremy Clarkson's neck on the track.
Nissan already built a supercar, the price just doesn't show it. Trust me, if you drove it, you'd never have another doubt.

I think what the OP was trying to say is Nissan needs a car that is lighter weight, 2 seater, etc. Now im just guessing, but I think what he meant is that Nissan needs a car about the size and weight of a Z with GTR power to compete with the ZR1. That is my interpretation.
Either that or he is just retarded.
