Another footnote about the lack of a Police Report is that in many states if an accident occurs on private property invlolving only property damage no Police Report is required. This happens quite often with accidents in parking lots and private drives.

+1, they have to prove this. My guess, it was a faulty aftermarket alarm! Hush now haters.

The 08 was a manual with the Viper 5701LE which comes with a Fail Safe StaterKill mechanism that lets it be used with manuals. Obviously that did not work like it should have. Also I'm not sure what you're talking about with the whole cop thing but I do understand jurisdiction and I'm not demoted..period.

And if you want to push the envelope just because you're a cop is a terrible thing to even think, you should be demoted for saying it online. Good thing you don't even understand police jurisdiction in this case

[QUOTE=Three Fifty Z;7221608]So what trim model is your 370? Stick or auto? What color? Tell us about it.

It's a Base 6MT Pearl White and it feels a lot different than the 350 when driving it. I like it a LOT more and the little creature comforts they added help too hehe.

Haha you are correct but I do not have any stock wheels because I still had the stock wheels from the 350z and gave them back to the dealership and they gave me my VOLKS. I want to go a different route with wheels on the 370z(lighter sportier wheel) so I'm selling the VOLKS ! (See for sale section)

I hope he'll let me take those stockers off his hands since he will be throwin his volks back on some time soon....

I don't like your attitude sir ! The bumper on my car got thrown out and replaced with a new one. The clear bra I had on my car saved it some but obviously not enough. I'm not saying that the car was totaled by any means but their insurance would have gone up from what I understand and if you think it going up on your one car when you have an accident is a lot imagine if their insurance went up on what they are being covered on their Toyota Nissan Ford dealership inventory !

You don't like my attitude????Where the hell have you been for the 7 or 8 pages of posts about your situation.Maybe you should go back and read some of the garbage people were posting.Of course I have no idea how bad your car was damaged but if you say the clear bra protected it a little bit,I have to wonder.A clear bra protects from rock chips, not collisions.Asfor the dealership insurance policy,it is a totally different animal than your personal car insurance.A dealer garage policy is extremely expensive due to the reason for having it,protecting a large inventory and customer car base. The dealer likely had a very high deductable and may have been torn between claiming it or bucking up and avoiding a claim.I do find it intersting that the "possessed car " actually had a remote starter that may have somehow failed or was inadvertantly started by an employee.
So,for interest sakes, was this really all the dealers fault??

Their responsability, you should maybe contact your insurance, MAYBE. To ensure your rates dont go up. dealerships at fault and should replace everything plus some, for now your car is not the same. been in an accident. free maintainance for 2 years or oil or something. hows this turned out so far??

Is this why you now have a 370Z?

Sorry but if someone bent my Volks I think I'd be pretty pissed off even if they covered it. Waiting three months for a god damn rim is not fun. But I feel no pity for OP considering he was flaunting his badge. Sigh... -.-
